    ATC Evolution

    • As demand increased for Honda ATC products originally used by farmers and racers, many improvements were made. By 1981, with the ATC185S, the three-wheelers had a tough fabric inner lining added to their low-pressure tires and sported hubless wheels with more durable plastic fenders.


    • The 1981 Honda ATC185S is powered by a 180.2 cc displacement air-cooled four-stroke engine with a 22 mm Keihin carburetor. It has a bore and stroke of 63 mm by 57.8 mm with a compression ratio of 8:1 and a compression rating of 142 to 170 pounds per square inch.


    • The ATC185S has a five-speed transmission with an automatic clutch. Its oil capacity is 1.43 qts. with a fuel capacity of 2.7 gallons. It is chain driven with a recoil starter. It's 71.7 inches long by 42.5 inches wide with a wheelbase of 44.1 inches and a 4.7-inch ground clearance. It weighs 270.1 lbs.
